Village stay by Congress women’s wing today

Mysuru, November 18:- “As part of the birth centenary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi tomorrow, KPCC women’s wing is observing village stay today,” said Rohini Priya at a press meet.

“The wing is organising village stay throughout the state to create awareness among the villagers regarding superstitions and unscientific beliefs. The team will be staying at the residence of Bhugatahalli Somesh and Renuka,” she added.

“We aim at creating awareness regarding the government schemes, supporting the education of women and children. President of the wing, Lakshmi Hebbalkar will stay at Kalkere Gollara Hatti of Kadur taluk of Chikkamagaluru district,” she added.
