Villagers and visitors stranded in Mysuru

Mysuru, March 24:- With no mode of transport available for an elderly couple to reach their village, the duo had no other option but to take a nap on the footpath at Sir M Visvesvaraya Circle on Sayyaji Rao Road in the city on Tuesday (Mar 24).

Likewise, the visiting students from Kerala who were on their way back home were detained by the traffic police  at Kalasthavadi village on Mysuru-Bengaluru National Highway and had to undergo thermal screening for coronavirus. Later, they were released to proceed to their state.

Karnataka is under lockdown till March 31 to contain the spread of coronavirus. (HN, NGB)
