Karnataka Vishwakarma Community Welfare Association felicitated its newly elected president B P Sathyavathi at Rotary Club auditorium on Tuesday. During the occasion, the members of the organisation submitted various requests to the newly elected president.
The members of the organisation urged B P Sathyavathi to bring friendly rules for lending loans to the members. N Chandru, leader of the organisation said that there are many hard working people in the community who are not able to afford their health expenses as eye problem is quite common in the Vishwakarma community members who are into jewellery works. “They get injured many times during the work which turns out to be risky several times. There is a need for health insurance scheme to be introduced by the organisation,” he added.
C Hucchappachar, former president, Jayamachar, president, Mysuru district Vishvakarma society, Huliyalu Kumar, youth president, Karnataka Vishwakarma Maha Mandala and other members of the organisation were present.
