Vishwanath to join JD(S) on July 4: Poorvaj

Prime news, State (Mysuru), June 29:- Former MP H Vishwanath, who quit the Congress last week, to end his four-decade long relationship with the country’s oldest party, will in all probability join the JD(S) on July 4. Vishwanath’s son Poorvaj took to Facebook to announce that his father will join the JD(S) on July 4. He has also requested support from his supporters and well-wishers.

Poorvaj has said that Vishwanath, who has already resigned from the Congress, will seek primary membership of the JD (S) on July 4. He urged all the supporters to gather in large numbers when Vishwanath visits JD(S) office at J P Bhavan.

One of the oldest politicians, Vishwanath called it quits from the Congress on June 23. There were doubts about his next political move, though some sources had said he may join the JD(S). A couple of days back, the veteran leader had said he would reveal his future plans on July 2. Vishwanath hopes he will be able to continue his good work in the JD(S). The former MP has maintained good relationship with all the communities. (MR).
