VVCE’s Cultural extravaganza Vidyuth 2017 to kick-start on April 15

Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, is organising a cultural extravaganza from April 15 to 17.

On April 15, Vidyuth-2017 will be inaugurated. Dr H C Mahadevappa, Minister for Public Works, Ports and Inland Transport Department and Mysuru district In-charge minister; and Dr Sarvamangala Shankar, Vice-chancellor, Dr Gangubai Hanagal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru, will be the chief guests.

A blood donation camp will be organised by NSS and Red Cross Youth Wing in association with ISTE chapter of the college. During this cultural fest, several cultural and literary events will been organised viz., movie making, fashion designing, voice of VVCE, computer gaming, mad ads, face painting, dumb charades, t-shirt painting, super minute, stunt show, auto exposition, treasure hunt, rang de rangoli, cooking without fire, shutter stories, box cricket, go-kart, paint ball, laser tag and more.

Vidyuth will also feature marathon, yoga, dance and fashion competitions. On morning of April 16, marathon has been organised by the college for a social cause.

A Subramanyeshwara Rao, Commissioner of Police, will flag-off the event. On April 17, yogamrita has been organised. Gowtam Ghatke and Dr P N Ganesh Kumar will be the chief guests.
