Prime News, Karnataka, Politics, Bengaluru, Oct 22:- A war of words broke out between former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar on Thursday (October 21) over loyalty. Siddaramaiah alleged that Dr Sudhakar, who was part of Congress before joining the Bharatiya Janata Party fold in 2019, had cheated his former party and jumped ship for money and power. He even suggested that after the 2023 Assembly elections, Dr Sudhakar will go to jail for corruption. Dr Sudhakar was among the 15 MLAs who resigned from Congress to pave the way for the formation of the BJP government in the state led by B S Yediyurappa.
Siddaramaiah’s remark had come as a response to allegations levelled by Dr Sudhakar against senior Congress MLA and former Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar for alleged corruption in the Kolar-Chikkaballapur DCC Bank.
