Mysuru, May 23:- “The bodily wastes taken out during surgeries and medical procedures should be taken care,” said Deputy Commissioner D Randeep.
He was addressing a workshop on managing the bodily wastes taken out during surgeries at Abdul Nazeer saab institute’s S K Dev hall on Tuesday.
“If such wastes are thrown out, it will be spread in the air and may cause health hazards. Five states in the country have pilot projects and Karnataka is one among the five,” he added.
MCC commissioner G Jagadish, Dr S P Dua and others were present.
