Mysuru, May 20:- “All precautionary measures have been taken to send stranded labourers in the district back to their native places. They will be safely sent to their native place,” said District Health Officer (DHO) Dr R Venkatesh.
He was speaking to media persons in the city on Wednesday.
“If anyone is found to be having health issues during the journey, we have informed the drivers and conductors to take them to a nearby Government Hospital. The health condition of the Covid-19 patient in Mysuru is stable. We may have more coronavirus cases. But people need not panic over this,” he said. (MR/KS)
