Mysuru, June 11:- BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa began Jana Samparka campaign in Mysuru district on Sunday by garlanding the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar at FTS circle.
He visited the Dalits colony at Kesare. He had his breakfast at the residence of N R BJP secretary Narasimha Murthy. He thanked the family of Narasimha Murthy and spoke to the media.
“I have visited Mysuru district as part of drought study tour. We will visit the dalit colonies. BJP will win 150 seats in the assembly elections. Siddaramaiah who didn’t have food at dalit houses has no right to comment on me,” he said.
“CM is not listening to the problems of the dengue affected people. The district administration is not providing drinking water facility to the public. Congress have disrespected the dalit leaders in the past 60 years of governance. Dalits are still living in huts. It was NDA government that awarded Bharat Rathna to Dr B R Ambedkar. It is our aim to make the lives of dalits better. PM Modi is working for the development of women. It is the time to get BJP back to power in Karnataka,” he added.
Former minister V Srinivas Prasad, S A Ramadas, M Shivanna, MP Pratap Simha, BJP City President Dr B H Manjunath, K Shivaramu and the party cadre were present. (KS)
