Webinar on ‘Pandemic may open windows of opportunity’ held at GSSSIETW

Mysuru, May 9:- The Alumnae Association of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, organised a webinar on “Pandemic may open windows of opportunity for the long awaited change” for first year students on Tuesday (May 5).

The programme was graced by Hitaisshi, (2010 batch Alumnae Computer Science and Engineering Department), Investor relations and Strategic Planner, VIVRT Motors Pvt Ltd (Rotractor, Past District Rotaract Representative (PDRR) of RID 3181), Mysuru.

Hitaisshi started the session by discussing the engineering aspects, attitude of professional engineer and professional challenges in current scenario and also the scope for preparation to upgrade oneself to the requirements as of now with respect to confidence, personality, communication skills, body languages and technical skills.

She also discussed about the most important code words to face the challenges in engineering life. Hitaisshi explained how engineering plays a major role in today’s corporate world.

She pointed out the job opportunities for engineers and suggested the students to be good observers, listeners, and a speaker and to be confident, because the current professional status might not last long and there may also be a lot of upcoming changes with bright future,
