Prime News, International, Tokyo, June 28:- A Japanese man who was wheel-chair bound, forced to crawl up to 17 stairs has been reported from Amami, Osaka has been reported.
Hideto Kijima 44, from Japan returning to Osaka from Amami, a small island off southern Japan, when the Vanilla Air employees refused to carry him up to stairs, citing airline rules that prohibit anyone from carrying a passenger up to stairs.
No lifts available at the small airport to carry disabled passengers up to tarmac, the passenger crawl onto tarmac claiming up to 17 stairs using only his arms.
Vanilla Air, the budget carrier of All Nippon Airlines in a statement said, the airline apologised to the passenger Hideto Kijima.
