Why no action against Rangappa? asks Shivaramu

“Even after so many allegations against Vice Chancellor of University of Mysore (UoM), K S Rangappa, MP Pratap Simha, instead of requesting Governor Vajubhai Vala to take against him, is silent. The irregularities should be investigated by the CBI,” said Karnataka State Backward Class Association President K S Shivaramu.

He was addressing a press meet here on Wednesday.

“The silence on the part of the Governor Vala over alleged irregularities in UoM by Prof Rangappa rise suspicion. There are 14 allegations of irregularities, but only two FIRs have been registered. It is because of the support by the MP. They are targeting the backward classes,” he added.

“Simha doesn’t know the value of Mysuru which is known as the heritage city. He is talking ill of former MP H Vishwanath. He has not visited any Dalit housing areas so far. If he continues like this, we will stage a protest against him,” he added.

HS Prakash, C T Acharya, P Raju and others were present at the press meet.
