Mysuru, July 3:- Wild boars have destroyed corn crop worth lakhs of rupees at Chennipura village of H D Kote taluk. Nagaraj of the village had grown corn at his 2-acre land. It is alleged that the forest department officials are refusing to give any compensation, saying they can’t give compensation for wild boar destroying crops. Forget compensation, the officials have not visited the spot even after receiving complaints. (MR/KS).
