Wild elephant attacks farmer on a two-wheeler

Mysuru, January 21:- A wild elephant attacked a farmer who was riding a two-wheeler. The farmer escaped unhurt.

The incident took place at Manuganahalli of Hunsur taluk. The elephant attacked one Ravi. He escaped narrowly but his two-wheeler was completely damaged.

The wild elephant was also the rampage at Kalabochana Halli in Hunsur taluk. It ran amok for a while, scaring the villagers. The elephant had apparently strayed from Nagarahole forest. (MR/KS)
