Will serve the people of Varuna Constituency for 10 more years: Siddaramaiah

Mysuru, June 12:- “I have visited all the villages in Badami Constituency and thanked the people. Voters of Chamundeshwari Constituency have already given their mandate and there is no need to analyse it,” said former chief minister Siddaramaiah.

He was speaking to media persons prior to an event organised at Jayamma Govindegowda Convention Centre in the city to thank the voters of Varuna Constituency.

“There is no rebel activities in the Congress party. All are satisfied. There is no value for the words of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president B S Yeddyurappa. The people of Karnataka have liked my administration wholeheartedly. I thank them. People have already given their mandate. No party got a clear majority. The Janata Dal (Secular)-Congress coalition government has to complete full term of 5 years. People of Varuna Constituency have elected my son Yatindra as an MLA. I will serve the constituency for 10 more years,” he said.

Siddaramaiah inaugurated the programme at the Jayamma Govindegowda Convention Centre. Former Nanjangud MLA Kalale Keshavamurthy, Lok Sabha member R Dhruvanarayan, Congress leaders Ivan D’Souza, A R Krishnamurthy, former MLA MK Somashekhar, former MP CH Vijayashankar, former Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) chairman D Dhruvakumar and others were present.
