Mysuru, July 19:- Women In Small Enterprises (WISE) is organising ‘WISE-X,’ a three-day exhibition-cum-sale of the products manufactured by Mysore District women entrepreneurs from August 1 to 3. During this event, it is also conducting a three-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme – 2019 to encourage the aspiring and budding/start-ups women entrepreneurs to start their own small business.
The event is not a commercial activity and it’s purely to encourage women entrepreneurs. Eminent speakers will speak on varied subjects like product selection, market survey, investment, challenges and opportunities, financial assistance through government schemes, through nationalised banks, about the licensing, certifications, packaging and financial management.
Women from all walks of life, rural, urban, students who have discontinued their education due to various reasons, and who have completed their education wanted to start a small business will be benefited from this programme.

The exhibition and sale and is to provide publicity of the product manufactured by women in small business, interested may participate by booking the stall and banner in advance. A fee of Rs 600 will be charged to attend the EDP session per participant with food for 3 days and Rs 3,000 for exhibition stall for three days
According to a press release from Rukmini Chandran, president, WISE-MCCI, women entrepreneurs may register before July 25. Limited seats only.
WISE, the women wing of District Chamber of Commerce Mysore is a platform that gives women entrepreneurs of Mysuru a common platform to successfully implement business strategies starting from age group 18, upper age there is no limit.
WISE motivates women to set up their own business. WISE has been conducting professional training programmes, seminars and workshops on changing technologies. WISE has organised many entrepreneurship development programmes to promote/ encourage the women to improve secure themselves economically strong and create their own independent identity in the society.
