With 515 fresh cases of Covid-19, Karnataka’s tally touches 4835

With no new cases in Mysuru, the active tally of cases stands at 6 as on June 5

Health News, State, (Bengaluru), June 6:-With the addition of 515 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday (May 5), Karnataka’s tally touches 4835 with 57 fatalities.
On Friday, 83 patients were discharged, total of 1688 were discharged so far in the state.
Karnataka’s tally of active cases stands at 3088 as of May 5, according to a bulletin from Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Karnataka.
Out of 515 cases, 482 cases are from interstate passengers mainly from Maharashtra and one case from international passenger who had arrived in the state.

Udupi district continue to report big number of cases as of 515 cases, 204 were reported from the district taking the tally to 768 cases, with the discharge of 82 patients, the active cases stands at 685, highest in the state with a lone death.
Yadgir (74), Vijayapura (53), Kalaburagai (42), Bidar (39), Belagavi (36), Bengaluru Raural (12), Mandya (13), Bengaluru Urban (10), Dakshina Kannada (8), Uttara Kannada (7), Hassan, Chikkaballapura and Dharwad reported 3 cases each, Haveri and Ramnagar reported two cases each, Davangere, Bagalkote, Ballari and Kolara has reported a case each.
Kalaburagi has the second highest active cases in the state (417) followed by Yadgir (345), Raichur (318). In Mandya the active cases tally stands at 184, while, Bidar has 168 cases and Belagavi has 133 cases.
With no new cases in Mysuru, the active tally of cases stands at 6 as on June 5.
