Health News, State, (Mysuru/Bengaluru), June 5:-With one new positive case of Covid-19 on June 4, the Mysuru’s tally of active cases has risen to six as on June 4, according to figures available from the Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka.
Total of 97 cases were reported so far in the Mysuru district, with 91 discharges the active cases stands at 6 as on June 4. One patient was discharged on Thursday.
Meanwhile, in Karnataka, with the addition of 257 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, the state has crossed four thousand mark.
On Thursday (June 4), the state saw 257 confirmed cases taking the tally to 4320 cases with 57 fatalities.
With 106 discharges on June 4, total of 1610 patients have been discharged from the designated Covid-19 hospitals so far.
Of the 257 cases, 155 patients are inter-state passengers who returned to the state after the lockdown norms were relaxed.
Total of 2651 cases are active in the state till June 4, four deaths are reported on Thursday.
Of 257 new cases, Udupi reported 92 cases followed by Raichur (88), Hassan and Mandya reported 15 cases each, Davangere (13), Belagavi (12), Bengaluru Urban (9), Dakshina Kannada (4), Chikkaballapura, Gadag reported two cases each, Vijayapura, Mysuru, Ballari, Tumakuru and Haveri has reported a case each.
With 92 cases Udupi has the highest number of cases in the state (481) followed by Kalaburagi (375), Raichur (318) and Yadgir has 271 cases.
As in earlier instances, migrant labourers and international returnees forms the bulk of the cases in the state.
