Woman, daughter blame CM’s secretary

A woman and her daughter created a scene in front of CM’s house as they were allegedly prevented by Siddaramaiah’s personal secretary from meeting him. The CM met a couple of people at the Janata Darshan left to Bengaluru.

Shrimathi and Vinutha, residents of Vidyaranyapuram had come to meet Siddaramaiah to seek assistance to perform religious rights of Vidya, Shrimathi’s daughter. Shrimathi’s husband Manjunath was working in KSRP and had passed away years back.

According to Vinutha, the CM’s personal secretary Kumar spoke to them harshly and handed over Rs 2,000. “We had come to meet the CM and Kumar prevented them from getting near the CM,” they alleged. Shrimathi broke down in front of reporters and alleged that Kumar behaved rudely.

Kumar, however, denied the allegations and said the mother and daughter were regular at Janata darshan and the CM had asked the police to release Manjunath’s pension and other benefits.
