Women form human chain to create awareness among voters

Mysuru, March 16:- Students and members of NRLM Women’s Organisation formed a human chain at Yelawal High School and shouted slogans of voting awareness.

Taluk panchayat CEO C Lingarajaiah administered them oath.

A march passed through major streets of Yelawal to create awareness among the public regarding the Lok Sabha elections to be held on April 18. They also distributed pamphlets to the public to encourage ethical voting. A demonstration of mock polling was held to make the public learn the use of EVMs and VVPAT machines.

SVEEP Committee secretary Krishna, taluk panchayat assistant director Krishna, Mahadev, Dinesh, Child Welfare Department officer Manjula Patil, panchayat development officer Kumar and others were present. (MR/KS).
