Women organisations are doing well in Karnataka: Dasaiah

Mysuru, February 23:- “Women organisations throughout the state are working efficiently,” opined Dasaiah, president of Karnataka State Sahakara Mahamandala.

He was speaking after inaugurating a special one-day workshop for presidents and chief executive officers (CEO) of women co-operative unions of state at a private hotel in the city on Thursday.

“There are 5,280 active women co-operative unions in the state. About 90% of these unions are active and working efficiently. Women being active in the administration are the reason behind the success,” he opined.

“Women are proving their ability on par with men in all the fields. They have to understand the things that are being explained in the workshop and have to implement them in the unions,” he said.

The executive director of Mahamandala Arun Kumar, Nagaraj of MDC Bank, PRO of Mahamandala Veena Nagesh, presidents and CEOs of unions of Mysuru, Mandya, Kodagu, Hassan, Chamarajanagar were present. (MR/KS).
