Won’t allow splitting of Mysuru district: KPP

Mysuru, October 19:- Karnataka Praja Party has alleged that disqualified MLA AH Vishwanath has demanded a separate Hunsur district and said the party would not allow the splitting of Mysuru district.

“Chamarajanagar district has already been separated from Mysuru. If they separate Hunsur from Mysuru, it will certainly affect the unity of the district. Hunsur is only 45 km away from the district headquarter Mysuru. There is no need to create a separate district. We won’t let the selfishness of Vishwanath to take shape. We will stage a statewide protest against this,” said state president of the party B Shivanna at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Friday.
