Mysuru, July 31:- “I won’t lobby for any ministry. And, I am ready to fulfil the responsibility the party gives me during the cabinet formation,” said BJP MLA of KR Constituency SA Ramadass on Wednesday.
He was speaking to media persons after offering prayers at Honnadevi Temple at Sosale village in T Narasipura taluk.
“I am not lobbying for ministry. During the election campaign in 2018, BS Yeddyurappa had told me that I will be in his cabinet. I didn’t even ask for a ticket to contest from KR constituency. But the party high command gave me the ticket. During the last BJP government, I was not given ministry in the beginning and was later given ministry and made district in-charge minister of Mysuru. I will follow all the instructions of the party,” he said.
The MLA offered special prayers to Sosale Honnadevi, who is the family deity of Ramadass.
Village panchayat president Suvarna Ningaiah, members Nagaraj, Puttaswamy, Shivu, former president Lokesh, Ganiga Association president Mahadeva Shetty and others were present. (MR/KS)
