A two-national level workshop on ‘Analysing and controlling the behaviour of children at home environment,’ was held from Thursday at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) in the city.
The workshop addressed the behavioural problems that might occur at various age groups of children. Some children have a proper behaviour and some do not. Some children depend on their parents for everything. If we analyse the reason for it, the environment in which they grew up makes them to behave in that manner. Some children use bad words and do not respect the elders and vice versa. The solutions for such problems are discussed in the workshop. Resource persons and parents from various places attended the workshop.
Head of the Psychology Department of AIISH, Dr Venkateshan said, “There are a lot of differences between the behavior of normal children and special children. Discussions and paper presentations were also held during the workshop. Participants, resource persons from various parts of the country participated in the workshop. The event is organised in association with RCI,” he added.
