Workshop on CET coaching and common syllabus held at SSRPU College

A one-day workshop was held at Sadvidya Semi-Res­idential PU College, Vijay­nagar on May 14. The lec­turers both from Sadvidya Composite PU College and Sadvidya Semi-Residential College participated to dis­cuss the common syllabus and CET/ NEET coaching for I and II year PU students.

The workshop was inau­gurated by R Vijayashekhar, President, Sadvidya Educa­tional Institutions. Professor G S Shivashankar, Joint Sec­retary and Chairman of the Academic Committee and Prof M S K Narahari Babu stressed the importance of following a disciplined mode of teaching and CET / NEET coaching for better ranking. The dignitaries present at the workshop were M D Gopinath, Secretary, KCT, along with Ac­ademic Committee Members Prof K S Hiriyanna, Prof Guru-raj Yed, Prof P V Narahari, Dr M T Govinde Gowda, Principal, SSRPU College and Prof Narsimha Murthy, Principal, SCPU College.

In addition, the complete schedule of the academic year 2016-2017 and num­ber of classes to be taken for CET coaching for I and II year students was prepared by Science, Commerce and Language departments.

The documentation of the discussion was submitted to the concerned heads of the institution. The management members stressed on follow­ing a common work sched­ule by both the institutions for the academic year.
