Workshop on “Python application programming” held at ATME CE

Mysuru, January 24:- A four-day workshop on ‘Python Application Programming’ (PAP) was organised at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at ATME College of Engineering in the city recently.

Chief guest of the event Dr L Basavaraj, principal, ATMECE, in his inaugural address stressed more on developing the skill set of the faculties and necessities of python language both on research areas and real time applications.

Dr Puttegowda D, head of the Department of CSE who presided, said that python is an open elective for the 6th semester students and python will play a major role in the life of students, once after they complete their graduation.

Guest of honor K S Manjunatha, founder and CEO of iQuest, stressed on the importance of upcoming technologies.

The ‘PAP’ workshop was conducted for the faculties by resource persons Krishna V Sattikar IBM, CGI and HCL Technologies Bengaluru and  K S Manjunatha, CEO, I-Quest, Mysuru and  Sumit Raj, principal engineer at Lodg IQ, a US based company.  –(KK)
