Workshop on testing and evaluation for Urdu teachers

National Testing Service-India (NTS-I) of Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), is organising a six-day training-cum-workshop on ‘Testing and Evaluation and Question Item Writing in Urdu’ for high school/PU college teachers of Karnataka from January 23 to 28 of January at CIIL, Mysuru.

Head Masters/Principals of the schools/colleges may depute one or two Urdu teachers from their school/college to attend this programme.

The programme is aimed to provide the teachers with the training in the area of educational testing and evaluation so that teachers themselves can identify the defects in the syllabus, textbooks, methods of teaching, etc., and can make appropriate modifications/changes, and thereby making the teaching learning process more effective. The deputed teachers must be engaged in the teaching of Urdu language at high school/PU level at their respective institutions. Only teachers who will get official deputation from their college will be considered for the programme.

Besides the faculties of NTS-I, a few external experts in the area of testing and evaluation will also be delivering lectures in the programme. The participants will be paid very moderate TA/DA and honorarium as per the institute rules. Outstation candidates will be provided accommodation in our SRLC guest hostel subject to availability.
