Workshop to strengthen Anti-Terror Squad held in Mysuru

Mysuru, March 13:- As per the directions from the Karnataka State Police head office, Anti-Terror Squad has been formed in the city keeping in mind the possible terror attacks in the state. Terror organisations are trying to attract youths towards the terror outfits through social media and attempting to train them.

The squad consists of one ACP and an RPI and 12 staff. The squad will have two staff led by PSI or ASI. The station limit squad will have 54 members. A workshop to strengthen the squad was held in the city on Tuesday at the office of Superintendent of Police.

IGP of Anti-Terror Squad, Somendra Mukherjee gave information and suggestions to the squad members.

Commissioner of Police K T Balakrishna, DCP Mutturaj, Superintendent of Police Amit Singh and ASP Sneha PV were present. (MR/KS).
