World Human Rights Day observed at Sree Nataraja Residential FGC for Women

Mysuru, December 12:- NSS and Political Science Departments of Sree Nataraja Residential First Grade College for Women observed World Human Rights Day in association with Manava Hakkugala Rakshana Samithi in the city on Tuesday.

“The Human Rights Commission was established in India in 1993. This commission was started with the intention of protecting human rights and enriching the lives of human beings. It aims at stopping the violation of human rights and helping those who are affected by human rights violation,” said state president of the Manava Hakkugala Rakshana Samithi Appaswamy.

“No human being can live without rights. Everyone needs rights to express what they feel,” he added.

Principal of the college Dr M Sharada, secretary of Manava Hakkugala Rakshana Samithi Anantharamugam, Anil, Panchakshari, Pradeep, Shivakumar and others were present. (MR/SH)
