Yeddyurappa’s attempt to weaken the government won’t succeed: AH Vishwanath

Mysuru, January 21:- “Yeddyurappa has to stop his attempts to weaken the state government. He should work as a strong Opposition leader. Any plan to make the government collapse will not work out,” said Janata Dal (Secular) state president and Hunsur MLA AH Vishwanath.

He was speaking to media persons in the city on Sunday.

“If there is any thought on change of guard, senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has to discuss. If someone says that on the road, it will not be valued. Congress has come home to offer power to JD(S). Congress leaders agreed to make Kumaraswamy as the Chief Minister. Former chief minister Siddaramaiah held a meeting of MLAs at the resort. Congress – JD(S) don’t have any misunderstanding. Our MLAs too have no differences. JD(S) doesn’t have to huddle the MLAs at a resort. We are in contact with each other. We had dinner together on Saturday during the trailer launch of the movie ‘Seetharama Kalyana’ of Nikhil Kumaraswamy,” he added. (MR/KS)
