Mysuru, September 30:- Titular king of Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar held the traditional Khas Durbar at Mysuru Palace along with various pujas on Sunday as part of the traditional Navaratri celebrations of the erstwhile royal family.
The assembling of lions to the throne to complete it was held at the auspicious muhurta between 5:10 am and 5:30 am. Yaduveer Wadiyar wore kankana at Chamundi Thotti ahead of Khas Durbar between 8:05 am and 8:30 am. His wife Trishika Kumari Wadiyar also wore the kankana at Vani Vilasa prayer room and arrived at Chamundi Thotti. Elephant (Pattada Ane), Cow (Pattada Hasu) and horse (Pattada Kudure) were brought to Savar Thotti at 9:30 am. Kalasa puja and ascending of the throne was held between 9:50 am and 10:35 am. Yaduveer Wadiyar held Khas Durbar for 30 minutes.
The idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari was taken from Chamundi Thotti to Kannada Thotti in a procession. (MR/KS)
