Mysuru, January 18:- “Young voters of India should vote against family politics,” said the president of Nava Jeevana organisation, Prem Kumar at a press meet at Mysuru press club on Friday.
“According to the constitution of India, anyone can contest the elections. But the youths have to neglect these family politicians. It is essential for the future of India. We and our ancestors have remained mere voters and voted the politicians like slaves. From village panchayat to prime minister’s post, everywhere candidates can be seen because of their family. Dr B R Ambedkar, Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam didn’t do family politics. Youths should not encourage this family politics hereafter,” he added.
Nagaraj, Nataraj and others were present. (MR/KS).
