Youth Cong members stage protest; demand action against BSY

Mysuru, February 12:- Mysuru District Rural Youth Congress Committee members staged a protest in front of the office of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Police Station near Dr Rajkumar Circle (Fountain Circle) in the city on Tuesday, demanding action against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president B S Yeddyurappa who allegedly attempted to bribe the Congress MLAs as per the audio tape released by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy recently.

The Congress members alleged that Yeddyurappa attempted to bribe Sharana Gowda Patil, son of MLA Naganna Gowda with an offer of Rs 10 crore in advance to resign and assured of extending help to face the next elections. They also alleged that Yeddyurappa was trying to poach Congress MLAs forcefully and said the audio tape is the proof of Yeddyurappa’s wrongdoings and demanded action against him.
