Mysuru, September 18:- For the first time during the Dasara festivities, a two-day career guidance programme ‘Yuva Anveshane’ is being introduced to the students to develop their skill here on September 23 and 24.
Addressing a press meet at Senate Bhavan in the city on Monday, Superintendent of Police Ravi D Channanavar said, “The two-day skill development programme will be held at Senate Bhavan at Manasagangothri campus in University of Mysore. Noted speakers are invited to impart training in skills and provide adequate knowledge on how to face the competitive examinations.”
The first day of the programme will feature a session on ‘Embrace the fear’ – how to face competitive exams including UPSC, IPS..
IPS officer and SP of Chikkamagaluru Annamalai, CEO of Belagavi Zilla Panchayat R Ramachandran, Venkat Raja, Arunangshu Giri, Mohammad Sujeetha, B M Darukesha, G Radhika, Gurudatt Hegde, Dr Rajendra K V, Ravi Channannavar will be the speakers on day one.
On the second day, a programme titled ‘Fostering youth for world of opportunities’ will be held.
Former chairman of CII Dr N Muthukumar will deliver the welcome address; the theme address will be delivered by SP Ravi D Channanavar. The keynote address will be delivered by Kamal Bali, chairman of CII and deliver a lecture on topic ‘Make in India: Role of youth in making dream to reality.’
Other speakers on day two includes director of ISRO Dr M Annadurai, who will speak on ‘Science as a way of life,’ Suhas Gopinath, chairman and founder of Globals, founder-chairman and MD Kris Lakshmikanth, Ajay Gopi and M S Raghu will deliver lecture on various topics.
