Mysuru, February 16:- “Don’t waste time sitting in AC rooms. Go to rural areas and find solutions for their problems and provide them basic amenities,” instructed zilla panchayat CEO Shivashankar here on Thursday.
He was speaking at the KDP review meeting held at Abdul Nazeer Saab auditorium. Unhappy with the works done under ACP and TCP schemes, he said, “Though officials have been given AC rooms, car and telephone and other facilities, they aren’t meeting the expectations.” He asked them to visit tribal areas and find solutions for their problems. He warned of strict action against lethargic officials. The meeting was informed that 34 drinking water units will be installed against the target of 50.
